In a major goof-up, the photo on the exam hall ticket of a candidate, who appeared for the Karnataka Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET-2022), held on November 6, conducted by the state school education department was replaced by the image of Bollywood actor Sunny Leone, reported PTI.
A probe has been ordered into the incident after a screenshot of the admit card went viral on the internet.
The incident came to light after the candidate from Chikmagalur district presented her hall ticket carrying the image of the actress at the Rudrappa College. A complaint was immediately lodged with the Cyber Crime police by the principal of the college.
According to police, the error would have occurred at the time of uploading the photograph while filing and submitting the application online.

The candidate while speaking to PTI said that she did not fill the application form, including the photograph online but asked a friend to do it.
It is still not clear why the candidate used an inappropriate picture to fill the form.
Meanwhile, the school education department of Karnataka has denied role in generating the examination hall ticket and said that to fill the application online a user ID and password is generated which is exclusive to the candidate and no one else can meddle with it.
"The department has no role in whatever media is reporting on this issue. Yet we have requested the police to investigate the matter and initiate action against those responsible for the incident," the Public Instruction Department said in its clarification, as reported by PTI.
A total of 3,32,913 candidates appeared for the exam held across 781 centres in Karnataka.
