India is battling with a huge Covid crisis amid the second wave. While it has been advised by the central and the state government to stay at home and use masks and sanitisers at public places, election rallies in West Bengal are drawing a lot of criticism during these dreadful times. BJP Leader Manoj Tiwari also shared visuals of his Barrackpore rally in West Bengal. Tiwari was campaigning for Bhartiya Janata Party on April 15th ahead of the fourth phase of the West Bengal Assembly Elections. The BJP leader took to Twitter and shared the video showing massive support for the saffron party during the rally. People in the rally were seen flouting all the Covid guidelines issued by the Central government and only more masks.

The surprising element in Manoj Tiwari's tweet was that he appealed to people to stay inside their homes until it is necessary to come out and even said that 'We will fight this Covid crisis' but himself violated the basic rule to stay during these unprecedented times.

Saying that there is no alternative to elections so they are campaigning during Covid times, Manoj Tiwari did not wear a mask and was busy waving to people beaming with pride for gathering such a huge mass in the rally.
