New Delhi: Bharatiya Janta Party Chief Amit Shah briefed media on the completion of government’s four years in power and listed out various achievements of the government since 2014.

Speaking on the occasion, Shah said “After Modi government took over, India saw a new light”.

“This government has proved to work for the welfare of both cities and rural areas. PM Modi wanted to take India up the ladder in world economy and he fulfilled his promises” he added.

Shah further called Modi as the most hardworking Prime Minister and claimed that there have been no corruption scandals during his tenure.

Claiming that the party is working towards developing the rural India, Shah said “Today there is no village in India where there is no electricity. We achieved this target way before the deadline. And we are still working on making this better”.

He further added “PM Modi is the best Prime Minister India could get”.

Where on one hand, BJP is listing out its achievements, opposition Congress on the other is observing “Vishwasghat Divas” or “betrayal day”.

Minutes after Shah’s press conference, Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said “In these four years, PM Modi accumulated publicity but India only accumulated pain”.

He further accused the government of betrayal and said, “These four years can be defined in four terms - treachery, trickery, revenge and lies. Hence, INDIA BETRAYED”.

He also said, “An atmosphere of fear, hatred and violence has been created in the last four year”.
