New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday termed as "bizarre" the media reports that pollution levels in the national capital had spiked despite the odd-even traffic scheme.

"Bizarre conclusions by some media -- less petrol consumption, less vehicles and yet pollution increased," Kejriwal tweeted.

According to some media reports, on the second day of odd-even Phase II, increase in gaseous pollution (NO2) and a high concentration of particulate matter (PM) was reported in some areas of the national capital, though the Delhi government claimed a positive impact on Delhi's air quality.
