Shergill contends, "Congress's habit of blaming others for their faults is evident as they criticize Nitish Kumar's alliance shift; the party, which aligned with those who once called Sonia Gandhi corrupt, joined hands with figures holding conflicting ideologies, making them resemble the proverbial 'naach na jaane, aangan tedha,' while asserting that the INDI partners have realised the darkness of aligning with Congress, a sinking ship lacking belief in the light of development."
Choudhary stated, "In the last 48 hours, you all have witnessed the political situation of Bihar, and we extended our support to JD(U) amidst attempts to break the alliance, emphasizing the commitment to the development of the state through the coalition of JD(U)-BJP-HAM and other parties."

From the outside, everything appeared normal but Congress was doing politics with the alliance parties. Once Rahul Gandhi said that regional parties don't have an ideology. Due to this, we broke our association with the alliance."
"Nitish Kumar's decision is a great setback for the INDIA bloc. His decision is for the development of Bihar. This decision is very challenging for Congress. It is not right to call him 'Paltu Ram'. Certain decisions have to be made at the right time, and he did it," says Union Minister Dr. Ramdas Athawale.

Shiv Sena (UBT) mouthpiece Saamana in its editorial has criticised Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for returning to NDA fold.
"After the formation of the 'INDIA' bloc, it seemed that Kumar would lead the national leadership. Opposition parties should unite and fight against the dictatorship of the BJP. For this, Kumar took the initiative to bring everyone together and called the first meeting of all anti-BJP forces in Patna and made it successful. Nitish in that meeting gave a speech saying that the country is in crisis, the Constitution is in danger, Central investigative agencies are being misused and it is in the national interest that we all should put aside our differences and come together to protect democracy. Such allegorical views were presented by Kumar in Patna. Later he participated in meetings in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi," Saamana wrote in the editorial.
