The letter by the intelligence wing of the Special Branch of Bihar Police to all the district branches carries order to collect details about the RSS and its affiliates, regarding its state level portfolio holders.

Besides RSS, the 18 outfits that have been named in the letter include Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Jagaran Samiti, ABVP, Akhil Bharatiya Shikshak Mahasangh, Hindu Mahasabha and others.

The details like names, contact details including phone numbers and address and also business associations of all the office-bearers of the RSS and its associate outfits have been sought within a week’s period.

As per sources, the BJP has expressed its displeasure over the order. They also revealed that the task has been instructed to be carried out with confidentiality.
