Gaya: Nagsen Aman was murdered in China a week ago. Since then, his body is still on foreign soil and the family is struggling to bring back the dead body of their son to pay last respects. The family members have expressed their displeasure with the government.


Uday Paswan, the father of Nagsen Aman, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar locality in the Police line area of Gaya town, said that he learned about his son's death on July 29. It was later revealed that he was murdered. Even after knowing this, the Government of India is not do anything in this matter. This is mainly because Nagsen Aman comes from the Mahadalit community.


On the other hand, Jyotsna Chandra, elder sister of deceased Nagsen Aman, said that it is not known whether the Government of India will bring the body or not. The family said that they have been waiting for a week now. Jyotsna has appealed to the Government of India to order the body of her younger brother back to his native village.


First reported death, later confirmed as murder


Nagsen Aman went to China for four years to study international business studies in 2019. He was the only student of Indian origin at Tianjin Foreign University in Beijing. He last spoke to his family on July 23 after which his mobile was switched off. On July 29, the university reported that he had died.


On August 2, the Embassy informed via mail that Nagsen Aman had been murdered. The murder accused has been arrested by the police. Since then, the family has been pleading with the Government of India to see their son's body. Hindustani Awam Morcha National President Jitan Ram Manjhi has also tweeted in the case and urged the Chinese President to conduct a high-level inquiry and send the body to India.
