Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed confidence in retaining power as Chief Minister in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2020. Reacting to the ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll which predicted Nitish Kumar outshining opposition parties with an ease, the Chief Minister said that people of Bihar very well know "NDA has no personal interest, we always work for the development and welfare of the state."
Breaking down NDA's vote share, the survey finds that BJP will alone secure 22 per cent votes in the upcoming polls where as Nitish Kumar's JDU will bag 18 per cent votes. VIP, which is also a part of NDA in Bihar, will get close to 2 per cent votes in the elections.
The survey also predicted that NDA will garner as much as 43 per cent of the total vote share, whereas Mahagathbandhan will bag 35 per cent votes in the Assembly polls. Chirag Paswan's LJP might only get 4 per cent of the total vote share, survey said adding that Others might get 18 per cent in their kitty.

When ABP News-Voter asked about what will be the the most important issue? 52% people said that Unemployment will the main factor in the upcoming Bihar Elections. Other issues such as Status of Electricity/ Water /Roads, Issue of Corona Pandemic, Status of education facilities, National issues like CAA/NRC/NPR will also be factors in the elections.
When asked will Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) suffer because of Lalu Prasad Yadav being in jail? 54% people said YES, while 46% of respondents said that Lalu being in jail will not affect RJD in upcoming polls.
ABP News CVoter Opinion Poll's survey also asked several questions to over 30,000 voters. When asked do they think that LJP & BJP are actually working hand in glove with each other? 61 per cent said yes to the question, while 39% of respondents said no.

On vote percentage, NDA appears to be behind with 28% voting share, while RJD leaps ahead with as much as 46% vote share. Chirag Paswan's LJP might bag a voting share of 4%, while Others might manage to get a voting share of 22%
In Seemanchal Lok Sabha Region of Bihar NDA looks to remain ahead with number of seats between 11-15. On the other hand, Mahagathbandhan stands second in the race in Seemachal region with somewhere between 8-11 seats. Chirag Paswan's LJP is drawing blank in the region while other parties might bag 1-2 seats.
The survey is being brought to you after speaking over 30,000 people in Bihar between October 1, 2020 till October 28, 20202.

Bihar will go for the first phase of voting on October 28, the stage is set and all the parties are on the chessboard noticing every move and planning their next. On one side Prime Minister Narendra Modi held 3 rallies to pitch for the incumbent CM Nitish Kumar and on the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi have not only been attacking the Nitish government's disaster management policy but also the Centre's action on China after Bihar lost many soldiers in the Galwan valley scuffle.
BJP released its manifesto 2 days ago which also stirred a huge controversy regarding their claims to provide free Covid vaccine to Bihar.
