As per experts, the poor results is an eye opener and a mirror image of Bihar’s education system as poor result is believed to be an aftermath of strict measures against cheating.
The only silver lining was that 73.76 per cent students appearing in Commerce stream exams passed. The Board result was announced on Tuesday morning.
In the science stream, which saw only 30.11 per cent students pass, saw an average of 44.66 per cent marks scored.
Among these were also a few students who made their families proud with a decent score in their respective streams. Boy named Ganesh topped the Humanities field with 82.6% marks. Whereas; Khushboo topped Science stream with 86.2% marks.
Also a boy named Priyanshu topped Commerce with 81.6 percent marks.
Last year, when the new rules against cheating were not in place, the state board exams saw 67.06 per cent science students pass, while the arts stream saw 80.87 per cent students pass.
