Patna: Cybercriminals are constantly duping people using different ways. Sometimes by posing as bank officials and sometimes through some other ways. This time, a case of attempted fraud by creating a fake website in the name of Beltron has come to light. Following this, an FIR has also been lodged against an unknown person at Shastri Nagar police station in Patna. 


Actually, the real website of Beltron is www.bsedc.bihar.gov.in. Information for recruitment of candidates was given on a similar website with a similar name, www.bsedc.bihargov.co.in


Both websites look the same when you open them. That's why many people fell prey to it. The Beltron officials later came to know about it.

Many candidates made online payments on the fake website and also filled the form on the website itself and came to Beltron's office in Shastri Nagar for inquiry. The officials came to know of the forgery and then complained to the police station. Now information about fraudsters is being collected with the help of IP addresses.

SHO Ram Shankar Singh said that the case has been found to be true. The cyber cell team is trying to nab the fraudsters. The assistance of technical cell will be taken.
