New Delhi: In sudden turn of events ahead of by-elections in West Bengal, political strategist Prashant Kishor has enrolled himself as a voter from Bhabanipur Assembly, from where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is trying her luck.
The name of Prashant Kishor has been added as the voter of Part No. 222 of Bhabanipur. Prashant Kishor has become the voter of St Helen's School polling centre. There is a information that PK's name was included in the electoral roll between January and May. According to the Election Commission's website, Prashant Kishor is a voter of 159 Bhabanipur constituency.

Prashant Kishor's i-pack has handled grassroots strategic responsibilities since the Lok Sabha elections. According to the election commission rules, if a person stays in a place for a long time, he can become a voter there. However, in this case the name must be removed from the previous area. Then the name can be entered in the new place.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said that if she does not win the Bhabanipur assembly by-election scheduled for September 30, someone else in her party will become the Chief Minister of West Bengal.
Mamata Banerjee said during a rally, "Give your vote even when it rains. If I did not get a single vote, I'll have to suffer then. Don't be complacent and assume that my victory is certain. Please don't do that. If you want to see me as Chief Minister, you should vote for me. Every vote is important. If I don't win, someone else will become the Chief Minister because we are in the majority.'' In the last two elections, the TMC overtook the BJP in two Hindu-dominated body wards in Bhabanipur, where Banerjee had won.
