New Delhi: A married minor was raped allegedly by 400 people in the last 6 months, policemen are alleged to have sexually exploited the victim in Maharashtra as well. Now three people have been arrested over the alleged case.
According to ANI, based on the complaint lodged by the survivor, a case has been registered under the child marriage act, rape, molestation & POCSO, said SP Beed Raja Ramasamy.

The victim's mother passed away a couple of years ago after which she was married off by her father to a family that ill-treated her, according to India Today. The report further stated that she came back to live with her father and started begging at a bus stand at Ambajogai in the Beed district, this is when she began to face sexual exploitation.
The victim stated that while trying to file complaints at the Ambajogai police station the policemen didn't take her seriously and sexually assault her.
According to the India Today report, in a statement to the child welfare committee, she said, “I have been abused by many people. I went to Ambajogai police station several times to file a complaint, but the police took no action against the culprits. Instead, I was harassed by a policeman.”
After she finally registered a police complaint, a case was registered which led to arrests of three persons so far.
