Rajasthan: Yet another case of felony by cow vigilantes has come to light. This time from Barmer in Rajasthan; where 5 trucks carrying cows were stopped by cow vigilantes at the national highway and truck drivers were thrashed. A lot of ruckus was also created by these men.
One of the trucks was also set on fire by these men.
Speaking to ABP News, a senior police official who was available at the spot said, “Around 250 cow vigilantes created a lot of ruckus and stopped these 5 trucks in the middle of the city”. He further added saying, “I repeatedly requested them to stop but these men went on a rampage and vandalised the trucks. They also thrashed the truck drivers and torched one of the trucks”.
Earlier in the year, a man named Pehlu Khan was thrashed to death by a mob while he was transporting a cow for milk in Rajasthan.
In spite of repeated incidents, mo actions have been taken against these cow vigilantes so far.
No arrests have been made in the incident. Though, police have launched a probe.
