Phone Banking Scam Of Congress Govt Destroyed Nation's Banking System: PM Modi At Rozgar Mela
PM Modi addressed Rozgar Mela and took a jibe at Congress to say that their 'Phone Scam' destroyed the baking sector of India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took a jibe at the Congress during the Rozgar Mela and said that the 'Phone Scam' of the previous government broke the back of India's banking system. While expanding on it, the Prime Minister said that earlier, people close to a specific family used to call banks and provided their favourites loans worth crores. This 'phone banking' scam was one of the biggest scams of the previous government, as reported by news agency ANI. During the address, he also distributed more than 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Government departments and organisations.
PM Modi addressed the Rozgar Mela via video conferencing and said, "Today India's banking sector is counted among the strongest in the world." He also took a jibe at the Congress government and said that the banking sector has seen massive destruction during the previous govt.

PM Modi then during the address said, "During the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', when the country is working on the path of development, it is a great honour to get the opportunity to work as a government employee. The people of this country have taken the resolution to make India a developed country. The next 25 years are very important for India."

The Rozgar Mela was held at 44 locations across the country. Recruitments are being conducted across Central Government Departments, as well as State Governments and UTs that are supporting this initiative. The new recruits will work in a variety of Ministries/Departments, including the Department of Revenue, the Department of Financial Services, the Department of Posts, the Department of School Education, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, the Department of Water Resources, the Department of Personnel and Training, and the Ministry of Home Affairs, among others.
The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to give top priority to job creation.
