Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and AAP's Rajya Sabha MP has said that the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya would be a momentous occasion. He urged people to participate in large numbers and seek blessings during the event.


In an interview to news agency ANI from Dubai on Friday, Singh conveyed, "My heartfelt wishes to the people of the country. The Pran Pratishtha is approaching, and I encourage as many individuals as possible to attend the ceremony and seek blessings. This marks a historic day. Lord Ram is a deity for everyone, and it's significant that a temple is being erected at his birthplace. Everyone should be a part of it."

Singh also confirmed his intention to visit the temple, stating, "I am a devout follower of religion and God. I visit temples, mosques, and gurudwaras to seek blessings. Whenever the opportunity arises, I will definitely visit the temple. It's fortunate that the temple is being inaugurated in our lifetime. I extend my congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under whose leadership this temple is being built."

Addressing the Congress party's accusation that the BJP is using the temple ceremony for political purposes, Singh told ANI, "That's a different matter, but the important thing is that the temple is being inaugurated."






As Ayodhya gears up for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lala at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi on January 22, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the arrangements on Friday, expressing contentment with the meticulous planning and execution. The idol of Ram Lalla was reverently placed in the 'Garbha Griha' (sanctum sanctorum) of the Ram Temple on Thursday amid joyous chants of 'Jai Shri Ram'.

In a significant precursor to the imminent ceremony, a special puja was conducted in the sanctum sanctorum before the idol was carefully brought inside with the assistance of a crane on Wednesday night. The 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya's temple is scheduled for January 22.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to perform rituals during the 'Pran Pratishtha,' with a team of priests, led by Lakshmikant Dixit, overseeing the main rituals.
