New Delhi: Indian Army has apprehended two Pakistani nationals linked with terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba who were trying to infiltrate  into India through Jammu and Kashmir. In a press conference, Army officers on Wednesday,  played confession videos of both the men.


In the joint press conference with Jammu and Kashmir police in Srinagar, Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon, of Chinar corps, while addressing the media said: “Pakistan is desperate to infiltrate maximum terrorists into the Kashmir valley to disrupt peace in the Valley”.

“ On August 21,we apprehended two Pakistani nationals who are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba,” he said.

Two Pakistani nationals named Khalil Ahmad and Mozad Khokar were arrested near the Line of Control in Baramulla district in the night on August 21.

The two terrorists were trying to carry out a reconnaissance to pave way for infiltration by more number of terrorists.

In the confession videos, the two men admitted that they belong to Pakistan and work for Lashkar-e-Taiba and have been active since last four-five years. They also admitted to their plan of crossing border to infiltrate into India.  They revealed that their handlers are planning to push in moiré terrorists into Kashmir.
