New Delhi: Lance Naik Manju of Eastern Command has become the first woman Soldier Sky Diver of Indian Army. She jumped on Tuesday from a height of 10,000 ft from ALH Dhruv helicopter.  


Reacting to this feat, as quoted by ANI, Easter Command said that this inspiring act will set an example for other women in the army.  






Lance Naik Manju is from the Corps of Military Police.


Lance Naik Manju was trained by the skydiving training team of the Indian Army’s Adventure Wing for this heroic jump, informed Army officials, quoted ANI.
