A woman in Andhra Pradesh who received a parcel labeled as a 'home appliance' was shocked to discover a dead body inside the parcel upon opening it in West Godavari district. The parcel was received by a woman named Tulasi in Yandagandi village, sparking panic in the locality.

The parcel was delivered to Tulasi by an unidentified person who claimed that it contained electronic appliances. He handed over the package and left immediately. Initially unsuspecting, Tulasi opened the parcel after some time, only to be met with an unexpected sight of a decomposed dead body.

In the parcel, the woman also found a letter demanding Rs 1.30 crore. It also said that if they 'fail' to meet the demand, they will face serious familial consequences.

Immediately, Tulasi alerted her neighbours and informed the police about the dead body. She explained that the parcel, seemingly delivered to her doorstep, contained the decomposed remains.

The police quickly arrived at the scene and began their investigation. They are interrogating locals and trying to trace the individual who delivered the parcel. Efforts are also underway to identify the deceased and uncover the motive behind this chilling crime.

According to the police said that the deceased is likely to be aged about 45 years and was suspected to have died 4-5 days back.

The police sent the body for post-mortem and investigations are underway to find out the cause of death.

Meanwhile, the woman has reportedly sought financial assistance from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi to aid in the construction of her home. Previously, the Samithi provided her with tiles for the house.

This mysterious incident has sent a shockwave through the quiet village located on the bank of river Godavari. While locals gave several questions floating police are trying hard to find out the answers behind the crime.
