Amid these arguments and blame-games, a fresh CCTV video of the incident has erupted, which happens to remove the lid off the truth. The video reveals the timing of Navjot Kaur’s arrival, her departure and the duration of her stay.
The camera was placed at a resident Raj Kumar’s house, which is only 3 houses away from the stage.
What does the CCTV video say?
A Ravana effigy was being torched in Amritsar’s Dhobighat area on October 19, when Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur reached the stage at around 6:40pm; 14 minutes after the incident; that is at 6:54pm Ravana effigy was torched, at this time Navjot Kaur was present on the stage only. Only seconds after this the train tragedy took place, which cannot be seen in this CCTV
Around 58 seconds after burning of Ravana, i.e at 6:55pm, Navjot Kaur left the stage and left. But, no one was aware that such a big incident has already taken place at the railway track. Around a minute after she got down from the stage an alarm was raised and people strated running towards the railway track.
