Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended wishes on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. He took to X and said, "Best wishes to all my family members on Hindi Diwas. I wish that Hindi language will continue to strengthen the thread of national unity and goodwill."






Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his wishes on Hindi Diwas and said that India has promoted the use of Hindi in the United Nations. Speaking on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Shah said that the third 'Akhil Bhartiya Rajbhasha Sammelan' will be organised in Pune this year. "India has also promoted the use of Hindi in the United Nations...The third 'Akhil Bhartiya Rajbhasha Sammelan' will be organised in Pune this year," Shah said.






Shah also said, "Hindi is the name for unifying the diversity of languages ​​of India, the world's largest democracy. From the independence movement till today, Hindi has played an important role in uniting the country."






Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Wishes People On Hindi Diwas


Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday also greeted people on the occasion of Hindi Diwas and said that Hindi is not just a language but an expression of emotions that binds the entire country of India.


Taking to X, Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “Best wishes to all of you on Hindi Diwas. Hindi is not just a language that binds the entire country of India together but is an expression of emotions." He added that on this occasion, a pledge should be taken to spread awareness for the promotion of the mother tongue, Hindi, as a symbol of patriotism, culture, and prosperity.






Every year, Hindi Diwas is observed on September 14.
