New Delhi: Ahead of forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janta Party Chief Amit Shah on Wednesday held a meeting with his party and RSS leaders to discuss the campaign strategy in Lucknow. Shah was welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several ministers of his cabinet at Lucknow airport. The meeting was held at Lucknow’s Anandi water park, where senior RSS and BJP leaders were present.
After the meeting, a Bharatiya Janta Party leader said that during the meeting RSS leader praised Yogi Adityanath for the development work he has been doing in the state. The main motive of the meeting was to discuss the agenda of the party for campaigning and telling people about the work government have been doing in the state.
Speaking to media after the meeting, Sangh leader Krishna Gopal said “Sangh leaders come in the meeting and discuss the current social conditions. Our workers then gather thoughts for six months and share them during our meetings’.
On being asked Ram Mandir issue was raised during the meeting, He said that no discussion took place on Ram temple. Thereafter he said that no discussion happened on 2019 elections.
