Mumbai, Maharashtra: An eighty-year-old cancer patient, Mohini Chandiramani, who was travelling from London to Kolkata, was made to wait for three long hours on a wheel chair at the Mumbai airport on Thursday.
She was told by the airport officials that she delayed through customs, so flight took off. After her family made a call to Air India officials, she was able to board the flight to Kolkata.
"There is no apology from Air India officials," said family. The woman's family demands investigation.
This isn’t the first time that such an incident has been reported on Air India.
