New Delhi: In a perfect example of inter-faith matrimony, a Hindu man belonging to Brahmin caste took everybody by surprise when he tied the nuptial knot with a Muslim girl in Karnataka.
Setting an example of a communal accord, the boy named Vikram and the girl named Shabana got married after they reportedly developed a mutual liking.

The incident is of Kalaburagi district of Karnataka.
The bride Shabana Rahmat Hussain was staying at the State Home for Women for almost four years while Vikram hails from Bidar district of Karnataka. He runs a micro-irrigation equipment business in Bidar
The two got married in a simple ceremony organised at the state home for women in Kalaburagi.
As per ANI reports, when Vikram told his family about the girl and her religion, his family members instead of getting angry readily agreed to his choice. They respected his decision and arranged his marriage with all the rituals.
