New Delhi: Finally justice is being served to 13-year-old Ankit Vishkarma, who is suffering through Ventricular septal defect (hole) in his heart; and is likely to get his ailment treated very soon. Ankit who is a resident of Varanasi came to Delhi with his parents for treatment; “BHU doctors in Varanasi suggested us to get treatment in Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences” said his father; but the family was dejected by hospital authorities and were given a date of 2024 for surgery; which is after 5.5 years. Considering the severity of the issue, the family; who could not afford an expensive private hospital, felt disheartened. Immediately after matter came to light, ABP News covered the story and raised the issue with senior authorities at AIIMS.
