New Delhi: In a tragic incident, actor and TDP leader Nandamuri Harikrishna passed away in a road accident in Telangana on Wednesday morning. Harikrishna, who was 62, was a former parliamentarian was the son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao.

The accident took place in early hours of Wednesday in Nalogonda, which is around 100kms from Hyderabad.

As per reports, the car hit the median at a high-speed, Harikrishna was thrown out of the driver’s seat and fell on the road and received serious head injuries.

Nandamuri was immediately rushed to the Kamineni hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.



He is survived by his wife, daughter Sushasini and sons Kalyan Ram and Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.




He was a member of the TDP politburo and brother-in-law of TDP President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. His eldest son Janki Ram was also killed in road accident in 2014 in the same district.
