China: A 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday evening at around 9:19 p.m. local time. Reportedly, around 100 might have been killed.


A preliminary analysis also suggested that over 1,30,000 houses may have also been damaged. Officials

Officials say the epicentre was monitored at 33.2 degrees north latitude and 103.82 degrees east longitude. While the quake struck at a depth of 20 km.

The quake was also strongly felt in the provincial capital Chengdu about 300 km south of the epicentre.
