The Bhartiya Janta Party has put up a hoarding in Delhi comparing Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with Hitler over air pollution in the national capital. The poster read, “Kejriwal is the second ruler who converted a city into a gas chamber, Hitler was first.” The hoarding has been put up by BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga outside the BJP office.

“Compared him to Hitler because this is the second instance in the world when a politician has turned his state into a gas chamber. The SC has also said that Delhi has been converted into a gas chamber. People of Delhi are dying due to pollution but Arvind Kejriwal is busy in political campaigns,” ANI quoted Tajinder Pal Singh as saying.

On Friday, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal addressed a joint press conference with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in which he took the responsibility for the stubble burning in Punjab. He said that he was not willing to play the blame game on this issue and since it is his government in Punjab, he takes responsibility for the continuous stubble burning in the state.

Earlier, Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena shared a letter on Twitter that he wrote to Punjab CM over declining air quality in Delhi. In the letter, he mentioned how the cases of stubble burning have increased in Punjab as compared to the previous year. He also expressed shock over how Punjab has failed to use the ‘bio-decomposer’ that the Delhi CM Kejriwal promoted through wide-scale advertisements by spending crores of rupees.
