2019 Elections: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev expressed his view on the current Indian poitical situation and also said that it is very difficult for him to say who would be the next Prime Minister of the country. "Now the political situation is very difficult. We cannot say who will be the next Prime Minister of country to lead it," Ramdev told the reporters on Tuesday.

Ramdev arrived at Madurai on Tuesday to attend the national executive meeting of Bharat Swabhiman meeting at Rameshwaram. He said that he is not going to support any person or oppose any party in the Lok Sabha elections due next year. "I am not focusing on politics," he said.

Ramdev also said “Both government and opposition should be strong in politics; but these elections would be full of struggle”.

Earlier in the day, Ramdev also made a statement on the ongoing Ram temple row. “There is Modi government in the centre and Yogi Government in the state, if the Ram Temple isn’t constructed now, then when will it be made.” “There is no time to tell dates now, it’s time to construct the temple” he added.

He also commented on Naseeruddin Shah’s controversial statement and termed it as “shameful”. Ram Dev said “No other nation has the amount of social tolerance India has, Shah’s statement was very shameful”.
