New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on his third visit to poll-bound Uttarakhand, made big election announcements.
Addressing a press conference in Haldwani on Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal highlighted the the issue of employment for the youth. Unless jobs are provided, the party would give Rs 5,000 a month to people, added kejriwal.
This is Kejriwal’s first visit to Haldwani in Kumaon region and third visit to the hill state in view of the upcoming assembly elections. Last month, he had visited the hill state when he promised 300 units of free electricity per month for each household and 24-hour power supply for the people if his party wins the Assembly elections.
Assembly polls are due in Uttarakhand next year and the Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party has said it will contest the elections and raise development issues.
