The horrific incident took place in Sector 25's Bhaskar colony.
The victim who was identified as Vikas was attacked with knives, rods and sticks by the men in broad daylight at a busy market. Shockingly, none of the shopkeepers and passersby made an attempt to stop the incident.
Vikas was rushed to PGI hospital where he died due to excessive blood loss.
Police say they have identified the attackers on the basis of the CCTV video. The attack seems to be a part of an old enmity.
