Royal Enfield's post-GST ex-showroom prices are a mixed bag as some bikes see a price drop while others witness a hike
Royal Enfield is one of the few manufacturers that sell bikes both above and below the 350cc mark. Under the new GST norms, bikes below 350cc attract a tax of 28 per cent while bikes with engine capacities above 350cc are taxed at 31 per cent. Earlier, all bikes were taxed at 30 per cent.

For Royal Enfield, the Thunderbird 350 has seen the highest drop in price, with a reduction of Rs 91. The Himalayan sees the highest price hike, costing Rs 3,819 more now. Himalayan will be soon launched with the fuel injected engine and hence it has received highest price hike.
