Last month, the platform had hinted that it is working on the same with a team that is codenamed "Gryphon".

According to report on TechCrunch, the company is conducting surveys for receiving responses from users while looking to provide "support for profile badges, auto-responses, additional social listening analytics and the ability to run brand surveys about ads".

The 'Undo Send' button will work like the option given on Gmail as users will get the undo command for 30 seconds with which they will be able to withdraw a tweet in case there are corrections to be made.

It may not seem enough, however, this is the closest alternative to the 'Edit' button that has been in demand since long.

Besides that, paid subscribers will get more fonts and theme colours for background, links, mentions, hashtags and icons.

According to the report, these users will be able to publish videos of longer duration (almost 5 times longer than the current limit of 2 minutes 20 seconds), with a much higher resolution (8192×8192).

Users will also be able to link the business they work for or own through a badge on their profiles. They will be able to write and set a list of auto-responses that can be used for replies.

Other features include the option to survey users about the ads that are run on the application.

Twitter's plan for a paid subscription service was revealed when it called for a job posting of a full-stack senior software engineer in New York to join "Gryphon".

In its shareholder letter after the Q2 results, the company stated: "We are also in the early stages of exploring additional potential revenue product opportunities to compliment our advertising business.

"These may include subscriptions and other approaches, and although our exploration is very early and we do not expect any revenue attributable to these opportunities in 2020".
