New Delhi:  After a prolonged delay in launching its new Pixel 4a smartphone, the technology major is finally expected to unveil Google Pixel 4a on Monday. The US technology major has hinted at the launch date with teasers on its online stores, websites, and social media channels. It was earlier expected to be launched during Google I/O developers conference which got canceled due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Later it was slated for a June and then a July launch but finally, the official launch is here.




What is special about Google Pixel 4a?

The Google Pixel 3a successor is expected to be packed with additional features. The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.81-inch screen, 2340x1080 display with a punch hole on the top right corner. It may be powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset with Adreno 618 GPU, besides 6GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage options.

This sleek phone is likely to run on Android 10 but should offer the Android 11 update after it is released.

The battery is expected to be rated at 3,018mAh with support for 18W fast charging besides offering you a physical fingerprint scanner at the back. Coming to the camera, it may offer a 12-megapixel along with 8 megapixel.

How it is to be likely priced?

Although there is no official announcement from the tech major about the above-mentioned specifications and the pricing but the rumours are rife that the phone would be priced $349 in the United States, according to India Today report. In India, it is expected to cost below Rs 30,000 or even less.

What more can be expected?

Alongside the regular Pixel 4a, it is speculated to unveil the 5G variant but in India, it is likely to get only the 4G option.
