Though the company has not officially specified any date, a recent tweet by PUBG Mobile India fan club has created a buzz among the gaming fans. "Countdown begins. Few hours to go!," the tweet from PUBG Mobile India fan club account read. Along with tweet, the account has also posted a picture which showed that the game will be available on Google Play Store and for APK download separately.
As there is no mention of the Apple App Store or an iOS version, it is being assumed that the game is being launched only for Android users initially. It is not known when the game will be rolled out for iPhone gamers.
The viral gaming app Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) was among the 118 Chinese apps that were banned by the Indian government in September over national security concerns amid the border tensions with China.
To do some damage control, PUBG Corp had revoked China-based Tencent Games' authorisation of PUBG Mobile franchise's operations in India.

The company also mentioned plans to provide a secure and healthy environment with respect to gaming. To deal with privacy and data security related concerns, PUBG said it will conduct regular audits and verifications on the storage systems holding Indian users' personally identifiable information to ensure security and safe data management.
