New Delhi: The Finnish brand Nokia is set to launch Nokia 5.3 in India. HMD Global which owns Nokia has now listed the phone on the India website. The phone had a global launch in March this year and is priced starting at  189 euros which roughly converts roughly to Rs 16, 700. Nokia 5.3 comes in 3 colour variants, it has quad camera on the back is powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 665 processor and the latest Android 10 operating system.


Storage and Display

Nokia 5.3 features a large 6.55-inch display with HD+ display and 20:9 aspect ratio. Nokia 5.3 received Low Blue Light certification. The phone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

Camera Specifications:

Nokia 5.3 has a quad-camera set up on the rear, 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 5-megapixel camera; a third 2-megapixel camera and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. So it can close with the macro lens or capture the entire scene with the ultra-wide 118° lens. It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture. With the night mode, the brand claims that the photos will be clear without flash.

Connectivity and Power:

The Nokia 5.3 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.20, USB OTG, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). It runs on 4000mAh non-removable battery.

Nokia 5.3 has a 2.5D glass front and a scratch-resistant composite back for extended durability and the phone weighs about 180 gms.

Expected Prices

Globally the phone is priced at 189 Euro. Although the company has not divulged any numbers, it is likely to be available in the Indian market in the same range.
