Motorola’ first ever Android One device in India, the Motorola One Power, has hit the shelves today. The company has announced that the new handset will go on sale exclusively on e-commerce site Flipkart. Customers can buy the Motorola One Power smarphone online on Flipkart from 12 pm onwards today. Priced at Rs 15,999, Motorola One Power is a mid-range smartphone which is part of Google’s Android One programme. The biggest attraction of the all new Motorola phone is its massive 5000mAh battery which is so far the best in this price segment. As of now, the Motorola One Power will be available only on Flipkart and in black colour. In order to lure customers, the company has clubbed various attractive deals including cashback of up to Rs 4,4450 for Reliance Jio users on recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299. The offer also includes Jio instant cashback vouchers worth Rs 2,200, Myntra discount of Rs 1,000 and Cleartrip cashback vouchers worth Rs 1,250.


Boasting a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD Max Vision display, Motorola One Power comes with Android 8.1 Oreo and will be upgraded to Android Pie by end of this year. Also, the phone is equipped witth 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory and expandable storage of up to 256GB, supported by a microSD card. Apart from its massive battery capacity, the phone has a TurboPower fast charger. Motorola claims that users get 6 hours of power in 15 minutes. With a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD Max Vision display, Motorola One Power has a screen aspect ratio of 19:9. Based on Android 8.1 Oreo, the phone runs the Snapdragon 636 processor which is backed by the Adreno 509 GPU.

The Motorola One Power smartphone comes with a dual rear camera which is vertically stacked. It has a 16 PM primary camera and a 5 PM secondary lens. Other features of the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a type-C USB port. Apart from the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Motorola One Power also comes with accelerometer, gyro, ambient light and proximity sensors.
