The phone was rumored to be waterproof, but in fact, it is water repellent, which means it “creates a barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water such as accidental spills, splashes or light rain. Not designed to be submerged in water, or exposed to pressurised water, or other liquids; may diminish over time.” G9 has a “massive battery”, specifically a 5000mAh battery which can last for up to two days under optimal network conditions and use. The phone has a display size of 6.5" Max Vision with HD+ (1600x720) or 269 ppi resolution. It is set to start sale on August 31st at a price of ₹11,499 according to the Twitter post shared by Motorola India.
