California: After a long wait, elite smartphone maker Apple Inc's is all set to launch its flagship iPhone 11 in California's Silicon Valley Cupertino on Tuesday evening (IST). The company expected to announce a brand new trio of iconic iPhones today along with a brand new Apple Smartwatch. All thanks to the leaks and rumours which have given users a close idea of what the smartphone brand is going to unveil today and what these models are going to be called.


According to reports, the iPhone 11 will be the successor to the 'budget' iPhone XR while the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max is going to succeed the iPhone XS and XS Max, respectively.  Apple has also unveiled the pricing for its Apple TV+ streaming service at a minimal monthly subscription of $4.99. Making it more interesting, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that Apple TV+ $4.99 per month subscription is a family subscription and can be accessed by multiple users. The service will go live on 1 November in over 100 countries.

Cook also announced that Apple Arcade is priced at $4.99 and will go live on September 19.

With all eyes on it, the event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Cupertino, California. Apple is also expected to make announcements on iOS 13 and updates on its services. Here's all you need to know about the much awaited Apple’s iPhone 11 launch event:

When And Where To Watch Live Streaming Of The Launch Event:

The launch event started at 10:30 pm (Indian Standard Time) on September 10. Just like all previous Apple events, the iPhone 11 launch event is also being live streamed on Apple's website. The official live stream is accessible on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 10 or above or a Mac computer using Safari browser. Likewise, Windows users can access the livestream page through the Edge browser.

Apple this time is also live streaming the iPhone launch via YouTube. The launch can also be live streamed through Twitter. Moreover, Apple TV users can watch the livestream directly using the Apple Events app.

iPhone 11 Expected Specifications:

Exact specifications of all three variants of Apple flagship models -  iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max are not confirmed yet. However, based on rumours and speculations, users can expect triple rear cameras on the iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max models. These cameras are expected to be housed in a square module and the additional lenses are expected to focus on low-light photography, wide-angle photography. Users can also expect some enhancements to video recording as well.

All three smartphones are expected to ship with Apple's A13 chip and some reports suggest that it may help with computer vision and AR. Coming to the display specifications, the OLED displays could only be seen on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The new iPhone models are expected to feature the following display sizes: 6.1-inch for iPhone 11, 5.8-inch for iPhone 11 Pro and 6.5-inch for iPhone Pro Max. The iPhone 11 is still expected to ship with an LCD screen. The front camera is expected to ship with enhancements that allow Face ID to work even when the phone is lying flat on any surface.

iPhone 11 Expected Prices:

The exact prices of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max for its India customers is expected to be announced during the Apple event. However, if speculations are to be believed, the iPhone 11 is expected to start at a price of $749 (around Rs. 53,600) for the 64GB base variant, whereas iPhone 11 Pro is expected to have a starting price of $999 (around Rs. 71,600) and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is expected to start at $1099 (around Rs. 78,700). All the above mentioned specifications and prices are based on leaks and none of it has been confirmed yet.
