Santa Clara: Leading chip-maker Intel has announced the 10th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile processors with which it is set to take the gaming experience to a new level.  With this technology, it has broken the 5 GHz barrier for laptops.


The H-series of chips delivers desktop-caliber performance that gamers and creators can take anywhere, Intel said in a statement.

The new platform is set to deliver fastest frequency, amazing game play and rich creation for users.

"The 10th Gen Intel Core H-series mobile platform extends Intel's gaming leadership, delivering desktop-caliber performance in a mobile form factor and breadth of choice with more than 100 laptop designs launching this year, including more than 30 thin-and-light systems," said Fredrik Hamberger, general manager of the premium and gaming laptop segments at Intel.

The 10th Gen Intel Core laptop processors deliver faster performance with up to 5.3 GHz3 Turbo, eight cores, 16 threads and 16MB of Intel Smart Cache to enable immersive gaming experiences.

The 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK processor powers laptops with an amazing capability focused at gamers and creators. It also allows customization, optimization and tuning of the CPU's performance.

Compared with a three-year-old system, the new i9-10980HK delivers up to 54 per cent more frames per second in gaming for even better playability. It also delivers 44 per cent better overall performance for a faster & more responsive experience that users can feel.

This chip supports up to two times faster 4K video rendering and export, making it a great choice for high definition visual viewing.

The other products in the H-series portfolio include: 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10750H processor and Intel Core i7-10875H chip.
