Here are the main features brought in the latest Apple Watch:
Blood Oxygen Sensor: The biggest highlight of the latest Apple Watch is its blood oxygen sensor with which users will be able to check their blood oxygen saturation level right from their wrist - this helps you see how well your cardiovascular system is functioning. With Series 6, you may not even have to use a dedicated pulse oximeter.
20% Faster: The Watch promises to 20% faster as it runs on the S6 SoC chip based on A13 Bionic but optimised for Apple Watch.
2.5x Brighter Outdoors (With AOD): Apple revealed that the new watch comes with AOD (always-on display) mode and gives a better outdoor experience to users as it is 2.5x brighter providing better and brighter display in sunlight. Hikers can also see elevation details change in realtime. Users will be able to access notifications, Control Center, change watch faces, etc without fully waking the screen.
New Watch Faces: Users also get a wide variety of new faces to choose from.
Sleep Tracking: It may be a good idea to have your Apple Watch on while you sleep as it will log your health stats while you rest and store them on the cloud server for you.
Colors: The new Apple Watch comes in a range of new colours such as gray, silver, gold, or blue aluminum and unlike earlier ones, it is available for the first time in the 'Product Red' colour.
Solo Loop: Series 6 also comes with a new Solo Loop, it has a single band with no clasp. It is made of silicone and will be brought in seven colours. Another version of it is called 'Braided Solo Loop', available in five colors.
Apple will not be including a USB power adapter in the box and it will just have the charging cable.
The price of Apple Watch Series 6 starts at $399, the cellular models start at $499.
Apple Watch SE
The Apple Watch SE, the lower-cost model, claims to be 2 times faster than Series 3 and comes with S5 System in Package. It has 100% recycled aluminum.
There is Fall detection, Family Setup, New watch faces. It is also Swim proof and like Series 6 has Solo Loop, Braided Solo Loop, and Leather Link.
The price of the SE model begins at $279, the cellular models start at $329.
