New Delhi: The novel Coronavirus outbreak is wreaking havoc globally. While enough preventive health measures have been suggested by health experts, the people across the world are in state of panic. Amid COVID-19 scare, employees are forced to work from home as several cities are in lockdown mode. Here comes good news as Reliance Jio, Airtel and BSNL have launched special plans for the people who are working from home.

Airtel

Bharti Airtel broadband plans start from ₹799 that provides users with 100 Mbps of 150 GB data. If a user requires more data to work from home effectively then they can opt for the entertainment plan of Airtel. The entertainment plan of Airtel offers 300 GB data per month for ₹ 999 and its connection speed will be 200mbps.

Customers can also use the Mobile hotspot with Airtel's mobile internet packs if the usage is lesser than 3GB per day. One of the most popular plan to use while working from home is ₹558 plan with 56 days of validity. This plan offers 3GB data per day with 100 National SMS per day along with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls.

Reliance Jio

Reliance Jio's newly-launched work-from-home plan is priced at Rs. 251 under which the customers will get 2GB of 4G data per day with a validity of 51 days. After the completion of daily high-speed internet quite, the speed will be reduced to 64kbps. This plan only offers customers internet services and does not provide any call or SMS benefits.

Apart from this plan, Reliance Jio has also introduced a prepaid plan of Rs. 1010 under which 12GB data is offered along with free 1000 minutes for Jio to non-Jio calling benefits with a validity of your existing Jio plan.

BSNL

State-run telecom firm BSNL has also announced free broadband service for its landline and new customers for a month keeping in mind the customers who are working from home these days.
Only the BSNL users with a landline connection will be able to avail this plan at free of cost. Under the scheme, users will be provided 5GB daily data at 10Mbps and once the data is exhausted the speed would come down to 1Mbps per day. There’s no FUP limit on the plan.

Amid Coronavirus outbreak, Delhi, Rajasthan, Parts of Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand are among the states where the government has announced complete lockdown from Monday as the confirmed COVID-19 cases rises to 418 in India.
