New Delhi: Ford India has silently increased the prices of the Endeavour range and how! The popular SUV has been recording sales of around 400-600 units every month and while its launch price undercuts the India-spec Fortuner (which is a generation older), the new prices make it dearer by up to Rs 1.72 lakh.
Here’s a quick look at the price revision (all prices ex-showroom Mumbai):
It’s interesting to note that Ford just dropped prices of the Figo and Aspire by up to Rs 91,000 earlier this month.
The Endeavour is available with two diesel engine options - a 2.2 litre, 4-cylinder unit that makes 160PS/385Nm and a 3.2-litre, 5-cylinder mill producing 200PS/470Nm. While the smaller engine is available with both an automatic and a manual transmission, the bigger engine comes only with an automatic transmission (all 6-speed units)
The feature list in the Trend variant includes power adjustable/foldable wing mirrors, leather upholstery, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver's seat and rear parking sensors. It also gets a rear view camera, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, dual-airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control and ESP.
The fully-loaded 3.2-litre Titanium gets a total of 7 airbags, a volumetric burglar alarm, Ford’s terrain management system, semi-auto parallel park assist, power-folding third row seats and a panoramic sunroof. All variants are equipped with a TFT touchscreen infotainment system which supports CD, AUX, 2 USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from a 10-speaker sound system, you also get integrated active noise cancellation.
Satellite navigation is still an optional extra available for an additional Rs 1.16 lakh.
