Based in Chennai, ‘Bikerz’ aims to be a one-stop solution for scooter and fashion accessories along with Yamaha scooters





Yamaha has launched its first ever scooter boutique in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on July 21,2017. Yamaha plans to sell their scooters along with providing service facilities for the same from the scooter boutique.In addition to the sales and service facilities for the scooters, the boutique also displays a gallery of riding accessories and ancillaries and also offers one-stop solutions for fashion accessories. The dealership is spread over a total area of 3100 sq. ft. Yamaha has four scooters on offer on the country: the Fascino, Alpha, Ray Z and Ray-ZR. All the scooters get the same 113cc engine that develops 7.1PS @ 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.1Nm @ 5,000rpm. The Fascino is targeted at someone looking for a unique classy design;the Ray-Z seems is targeted at the fairer sex, the Ray-ZR towards young boys and enthusiastic people, and the Yamaha Alpha is a family scooter.





Commenting on the launch of the Scooter Boutique, Masaki Asano, Managing Director, Yamaha Motor India Sales, said, “Yamaha’s innovation in design and technology has contributed significantly to the modern era of motorcycling in the world.
