New Delhi: Seems like we can definitely term year 2017, as the wedding year. After Kavita Kaushik, 'Kayamath' actress Panchi Bora, Pooja Bannerjee, Ishqbaaz actress Navina Bole, Shireena Sambyal and TV actor Dhruv Bhandari, another TV actress is very soon going to join the bandwagon.

TV actress Prarthana Behere, who played the role of Ankita Lokhande aka Archana’s younger sister in Zee TV’s show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ is going to get married. She is getting hitched in November with director Abhishek Jawkar.

While talking to TOI,  Prarthana said, “"I will get engaged in August and the wedding is on November 14. It's an arranged marriage; I met Abhishek through a marriage bureau. We are keen to have a destination wedding."






























Actress also revealed that why is she getting married to a director. She said, “I never aspired to become an actor myself, I wanted to be a writer-director. I can't relate to most actors, as all they talk about is fitness and make-up. I am more inclined towards filmmaking; I believe that's where the real work happens. I like conversing with directors and writers."

She said that it was easy for her to understand Abhishek as they both are from the same industry.

After working in Pavitra Rishta, Prarthana shifted to Hindi and Regional films. Now she doesn’t want to come back to TV.
