New Delhi: Italian carmaker Fiat has launched the Linea 125 S at prices starting from Rs. 7.82 lakh. The sedan made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. The updated Linea has the highest powered engine among all Linea models.

The Linea 125 S, under the hood, has the 1.4-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that develops 125 hp and 210 Nm of torque, in a Front-Wheel Drive configuration, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This 125 S engine is up tuned to 11 hp more than the Linea T-Jet engine. The decision to go for higher power is to further improve Fiat’s stature as the car manufacturer known for reliable performance and power. However, Fiat also assures that they make “great looking cars” as well.

The equipment inside of the sedan is updated with the 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS-navigation, rear view camera, Bluetooth and USB Connectivity, etc. Safety features are the dual stage airbags and cruise control. The 16-inch alloy wheels and ambience lighting are attractive added features.

Besides the launch of the Linea 125 S, Fiat also updated their Punto Evo and Avventura. Christened PowerTech, the updated Punto gets a diesel engine powering up to 93 hp in all three trims—Active, Dynamic and Emotion. The upgrade also brings the 5-inch touchscreen infotainment display into the Punto Evo PowerTech and Avventura PowerTech, as it does in the Linea 125 S.

The updated Punto Evo PowerTech has a starting price of Rs. 6.81 lakh and the Avventura PowerTech starts at a price of Rs. 7.87 lakh (both ex-showroom prices, Delhi).

As customers usually complain of poor service from Fiat India, the company assures that a 3 year/100,000 km warranty, in 15,000 km service intervals, is offered for all Fiat products.
