According to the survey, 'Despite the second wave of the Covid pandemic in India being more deadly than any other country in the world, 67 percent of the survey participants admitted that limited people in their area, district or city are using masks or are not using it at all.'

Several participants reported that their family members contracted the coronavirus a few days after getting vaccinated at the center, indicating that the superspreader poses a threat at some immunization centers where people do not comply with the rules.
The survey said that this is a major concern and immediate steps need to be taken to ensure that these vaccination centers do not become superspreaders. 44% of Indians wear cloth masks which may not protect against the highly contagious delta virus. At the same time, 91 percent of the participants supported the government's possible decision to make masks mandatory in public places in the transition districts, while eight percent were against it.
