New Delhi: A 25 year-old man was stabbed to death in Sunder Nagri area by three men on Saturday, reported news agency ANI. As per the report, the police received a PCR call at around 7:40 pm on Saturday regarding a man being stabbed by two to three men in the trans-Yamuna area of north east Delhi under Nand Nagri Police Station. 


Following the incident, the victim was shifted to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. 


The deceased has been identified as Manish, 25, a resident of the same locality. 


According to Delhi Police, the motive of the murder seems to be an old enmity. During the preliminary enquiry, three men namely Aalam, Bilal and Faizan, all residents of Sunder Nagri, emerged as main suspects and they have been rounded up. The motive is an old enmity.






The investigation into the matter is underway.


An attempt to kill Manish was made earlier also after which two persons, Mohsin and Kasim were sent to jail, as per ABP News sources, and adding that Manish’s family claimed that they pressured Manish to withdraw the case. 


After Manish did not take the case back, two men stabbed him to death on Saturday evening. 


Manish’s family has alleged the police of laxity and that action initiated was delayed by them which resulted in his murder. 


The incident has triggered anguish among the locals who are protesting and demanding against the accused.
