New Delhi: BJP youth wing president Tejasvi Surya on Wednesday dubbed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as "urban naxal" for his remarks over the movie 'The Kashmir Files' saying he is trying to "whitewash the Hindu genocide in Kashmir".
On Wednesday, BJP workers led by MP Tejasvi Surya staged a protest outside CM Kejriwal's residence and chanted slogans outside his house. Since then, the Aam Aadmi Party has attacked the BJP and accused the BJP workers of sabotaging the CM's residence.
"This attempt to whitewash the genocide is injustice on a civilisation. It is a time-tested tactic of urban Naxals. Our protest is not against any party and this is not merely regarding 'The Kashmir Files'. This protest is against the inhuman mindset of Kejriwal who denies the Hindu genocide in Kashmir," Surya said.
"The AAP has questioned time and again the commitment and integrity of the security forces. He (Kejriwal) has made it clear multiple times that the policy of the AAP has always been in favour of terrorists," he added.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday tweeted that some anti-social elements had smashed CCTV cameras outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's house and also smashed the boom barrier.
Delhi Police has issued a statement saying that "around 1 pm some protestors breached two barricades and reached the chief minister's house where they created ruckus, shouted slogans... They were carrying a small box of paint from which they threw paint at the door... a boom barrier arm was also found vandalised and a CCTV camera."
The police said they acted 'immediately' to remove the protesters and had detained around 70 people. Legal action is being initiated, Sagar Singh Kalsi, DCP (Delhi North), said.
