More than 40 lakh (40,57,946) Vaccine Doses have been administered.More than 1.46 crore (1,46,98,311) Precaution Doses for the identified categories of beneficiaries (HCWs, FLWs and Over 60 years) for COVID vaccination have been administered so far. Delhi on Saturday reported 1,604 COVID-19 cases and 17 fatalities, while the positivity rate declined to 2.87 per cent.On Friday, the national capital had reported 2,272 fresh COVID-19 cases and 20 deaths, while the positivity rate was at 3.85 per cent.With Saturday's cases, the national capital's case count increased to 18,42523 and the death toll climbed to 25,969, the latest health bulletin stated.Delhi had on Thursday reported 2,668 cases with a positivity rate of 4.3 per cent, and 13 deaths.The number of daily cases in Delhi has been on the decline after touching the record high of 28,867 on January 13.Notably, Mumbai on Saturday reported 643 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the tally in the metropolis to 10,50,837, while four deaths increased the toll to 16,658.New cases remained below 1,000 for the third consecutive day, with Friday and Thursday seeing 846 and 827 infections, respectively.553, or 86 per cent, of the 645 cases detected were asymptomatic, with 92 required hospitalisation in the last 24 hours, of who 18 needed oxygen support.So far, 10,24,991 people, or 97 per cent of the overall caseload, have been discharged post-recovery, including 1,402 during the day, leaving the city with an active tally of 6,367.Mumbai had reported a record 20,971 cases on January 7 this year amid the third wave of the pandemic.Meanwhile, Kerala also continued to witness a dip in the daily COVID-19 infection rate for the third consecutive day, with the state reporting 33,538 new positive cases on Saturday taking the caseload to 62,44,654.46,813 persons recuperated from the disease, taking the number of recoveries to 58,33,762."Currently, there are 3,52,399 active COVID-19 cases in the state of which only three per cent of the patients are admitted to hospitals," the health department stated.Kerala had recorded 38,684 fresh infections on Friday and 42,677 COVID-19 cases on Thursday. The state reported 444 COVID-19-related deaths on Saturday, taking the death toll to 57,740.Of the deaths, 22 were reported in the last 24 hours, 225 were those which occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to late receipt of documents, and 197 were designated as COVID-19 deaths after receiving appeals based on the new guidelines of the Centre and the directions of the Supreme Court, the department release said.Among the districts, Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases on Saturday -- 5,577, followed by Thiruvananthapuram with 3,912 and Kottayam 3,569.

Mumbai Reports 536 Fresh Covid Cases

Mumbai, Feb 6 (PTI) Mumbai on Sunday reported 536 COVID-19 cases, which took the tally in the metropolis to 10,51,373, while three deaths put the toll at 16,661, a civic official said.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, in a statement, informed that 82 per cent of the cases detected during the day were asymptomatic.

The civic body's data showed that the number of tests carried out here had reached 1,55,49,418 after 38,082 samples were examined during the day.

The discharge of 1,153 people on Sunday took the recovery count to 10,26,144, which is 98 per cent of the caseload, it added.

Civic data also revealed the case doubling time was now 730 days.

On Friday, the national capital had reported 2,272 fresh COVID-19 cases and 20 deaths, while the positivity rate was at 3.85 per cent.

With Saturday's cases, the national capital's case count increased to 18,42523 and the death toll climbed to 25,969, the latest health bulletin stated.

The number of COVID-19 tests conducted on Friday was 55824, it said.

Delhi had on Thursday reported 2,668 cases with a positivity rate of 4.3 per cent, and 13 deaths.

Coronavirus LIVE: UP Reports 3,555 Fresh Covid Cases In Last 24 Hrs

 Uttar Pradesh's COVID-19 case tally climbed to 20,41,734 on Saturday with 3,555 fresh infections being detected in the state, while the death toll mounted to 23,303 as 17 more people succumbed to the disease.

Two deaths were reported from Jaunpur, and one each from Lucknow, Jhansi, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Prayagraj, Meerut, Kanpur Nagar, Agra, Hardoi, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Aligarh, Ballia, Chandauli, Auraiya and Shrawasti, the state government said in a statement here.

As many as 7,401 more coronavirus patients recuperated from the disease in a span of 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 19,85,926, it said.

There are 32,514 active cases of the disease in the state, the statement said.
