"Keeping in view the unprecedented demand for Medical Oxygen across the country due to Covid-19, containers carrying Liquid Medical Oxygen will be treated at par with other emergency vehicles such as ambulances, for 2 months or till further orders, the Ministry added.

Uttar Pradesh on Friday reported the highest number of deaths due to Covid, with 372 people succumbing to the virus in 24 hours across the state.
